? for anyone with the 95 Cobra "R" fuel safe gas tank

I'm thinking of making the 21 gallon fuel safe gas tank that came in the 95 and 2000 "R" my next mod. My question is will this fit in a Cobra that already has a panhard bar? I know that it will fit a normal Cobra with no panhard bar, but I'm not sure if the panhard bar will be in the way or not. Thanks.:smmon:

That one is kind of tough. You really have to take measurements to know for certain without trying an install.

Look at how much room you have withyour stock tank in. Measure it.

Measure or get the measurements from an R fuel cell. Find out if it is moved any from factory placement once it is installed. If it is no larger, or is not as large as the room you have between the stock tank and panhard you're in business. If however, it is larger than your stock tank as far as width under the car, then you need to double check clearances. I know the fuel cell hangs down a little lower, but I just don't know about width under the car.
