Looking for opinions on flywheel setup. Have a mcleod street extreme kit coming, and was considering my options on a flywheel. My car only puts down 476hp/522tq, and i don't see those numbers increasing anytime soon. I'm looking more at beefing up everything else first (brakes, suspension bits, clutch, etc), so I don't need and type of race only flywheel. This car doesn't and won't see the track often, but does see the occasional street race.

Is there any reason to upgrade over the stock flywheel (with new insert)? I'm so also looking at the mcleod lightened steel flywheel, which is supposedly lighter than stock

If it were me I’d just resurface the stock one you have. But I have an aluminum spec in my car and you can just replace the ring when it’s time to change clutches which is nice. I run it with a McLeod clutch
