Got tired of corroding & peeling bead seats and leaking tires, cheap China made chrome rims. Had chrome stripped (powder coat won't stick to chrome) rims powder and clear coated. No more leaks. Not as pretty as chrome, but, as a daily driver in Michigan salted winter roads, better than before.

I got chrome rims, and they are a bitch to take care of. But your car just
looks badass with those 03's, Polished would be sick too.

So, after you bought them and stripped them and had them clearcoated were they actually cheaper than Motorcraft rims would have been if you had bought quality in the first place?

Rears are 18x10.5 and could not get that size from Ford in 04
Cobra style. Frts are 18x9.5.
All up all in cost me $340 for stripping, blasting & powder coat with second powder clear coat. Cheaper than new set and good for winters. Sorry to say people, but, this is my beater. My 97 Cobra Pacific Green Vert never sees water let alone winter.
