First time at the track - times

Went to the track for the first time ever this past weekend and want to share my numbers. I want to give a thanks to S P E E D with his helpful tips I was able to learn alot and improve my times every run.

2001 Lightning
Mods: Upper pulley, Borla exhaust, Cold air intake, Nitto Drag Radials
It was at Byron drag way in Illinois.
My car # is 163

Nice start running 13's with decent 60' times first time out. One little hint though because your R/T's are poor. When you see the third yellow bulb come on GO! Don 't wait for the green or you will be looking at the other guys taillights.

That's pretty good IMO. Get blower ported and adjust the tune.. you'll be into a high 12

Thanks fellas for the tips. Yeah I was caught looking at some tail lights that day. I started to pick that up at the end. Im taking the truck to get tuned at Kurgan Motorsports tomorrow. I cant wait to see what numbers the truck puts down.

That's a good ET for the MPH man! 1.8 sixty foots on a drag radial is good. Figure a couple more MPH and your in the 12's. A tune will get you there. Awesome job brother!
