First Time at the Strip, Help?

I went to pueblo motorsports park for the first time Friday night and i was just wondering if my times were decent based on the circumstances and if anyone had some tips. Pueblo is around 4500 to 5000 ft and I only make about 11-12psi peak because of the altitude. It dynoed 317/338 uncorrected on a mustang dyno.

My best run:

R/T - .271
60' - 1.968
330 - 5.537
1/8 - 8.491
MPH - 80.08
1000' - 11.043
1.4 - 13.148
MPH - 107.18

I launched around 3000RPM and I didn't do much of a burn out.

My mods are in my sig. It is running the basic tune that comes with the predator. I also have 315 555r's on the back that were at 28 psi.

I'm very new and any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you're running true street tires go around the burnout box and do a dry burnout. Then try and slip the clutch at say 3,500 rpm's or so. Last you need to shift a lot faster. You get some practice and you'll be in the 12's very easily.

Whats up!! Finally sumone else from Co...Welcome to high attidute lol
1st-- dump the DRs you might break a half shaft --MT ET st(buy them)
2nd-- longer burn out if you keep those tires and drop the tire pressure to 15 psi
3rd-- launch at 3000 to 3500 feather the clutch
4th-- SHIFT faster it can take it promise 6200 to 6500 rpm

with that MPH so will be about 12.50's which isnt bad for Co.

PM me we'll go to Bandimere
good luck man

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I really had to clue what i was doing. Ive been practicing shifting faster and i will lower the pressure a lot more. I need to get my tune back from Rick and then I'll get back to the track and see how it goes.
