I’d get rid of that ice tank unless this is strictly a trailer drag only car

I agree with you as well; those tanks have been shown in the last few years to be not as effective as even a simple under hood ice tank. There’s a couple of companies bow making battery box tanks that hold almost a gallon. I guess it has something to do with distance traveled that warms up the cold fluid.

Check out my thread on double bypass and EMP setup. I believe it’s the most effective setup.

It’s all about flow and heat exchanger cycle rate (X per minute).

I sold my ice tank. Once the water warms up or spikes, it’s very hard to cool back down, not to mention you’ll never get all the air out as the spare tire is a low spot compared to the IC core. It would only exchange the fluid 2x per minute because of length and volume etc. now I’m getting probably 7-8x that at least.

Here are some updates on the cobra. Finally got around to getting the Scott rod panels welded in, along with my P/S pump (-10 AN).

And I didn’t know Ford stop making the OEM NTK o2 sensors, but I found 2 brand new sensors.

The next step is bondo/paint.

Hope this motivates someone.

After selling my original T-56, I’ll opt for this from Tick.

What did you get for your T-56 as I was going to sell mine to get just a regular spec magnum. If they have gone 8’s at over 1k hp factory stock I don’t think I would need to upgrade it ever lol

I installed a low vacuum bypass valve for the aftermarket cams.

And I primed the engine with GP-1 break in oil.

They Are Diamond and it was part of the motor build as a whole.
Ive heard good things about them and hopefully the ceramic coating will help.
Plus an I beam Manley Rod will make it alittle stronger.
Im dam glad @ Matshelby that he started this cause i would be at a loss. Even though im not doing the build myself just getting parts together.

Shelby Mike PM me please....
I need some Arms and stuff
