Well since I got over 500 miles on my 01 cobra motor, I felt it was time to let her really breathe. Sooo I take my friend along with me driving all around town so I can get some full throttle bursts in varying rpm's. All of a sudden I see a 96-98 GT pull up next to me with 2 kids about 18 in it. They act cocky as hell and ask me what I have done to mine and I tell them I just got a couple bolt-ons and a cat back. They preceed to ask what the whining sound is so i tell them i think its just a clogged fuel filter (twin walbro inlines)
ANYWAY...Light turns green, he floors the crap out of his and barely spins the tires, I roll into the throttle (till about 4k rpm) then just punch it. My tires are spinning all the way to redline, and spun them even going into 4th. I pulled about 6-7 carlengths on the guy by the time I hit 4th gear so I just shut down and the guy never pulls back up to me :shrug:
So that is my first official kill with my new motor, gotta love :burnout: the unexpecting ;-)
