The TFL guys do a decent job with their reviews. Wish I could have made it out to that test drive but I had too much going on in the office.

I just finished watching those vids and I can say I'm even more excited about the Raptor. It's an amazing thing to think that you might be able to get it down to a 5.2 or maybe even a 5.0 0-60 time with just a few bolt ons and a tune!

Keep up the great work, Ford!! IMO this new Raptor is a multi-run home run. Would be a blast to be along for the ride on that desert run in the second video.

Like it.

Will try to hold out for the 18/19 to see if they add any more cool features before getting a Gen 2.

Hopefully they addressed the corrosion issues from previous gen's before anything!

Its an aluminum body, so that shouldn't be an issue. If there is a corrosion issue in the body, it won't manifest in the same manner.

I don't think the frame itself on the old truck has a corrosion issue. But it looks like they reinforced the frame at the rear of the cab so frame bending should be less of an issue.

I will have to watch these later on tonight.
I almost held out for the '17 Raptor, but with the deal and rebate I got for my previous daily driver last year, I didn't want to wait another full year and then some.

I wish they would of stuck with the V8. There's just something about a bad ass truck with a V8 grumble and sound. I'm kinda glad I didn't hold out for this one.
It is a nice truck, but not too crazy about it.

Looks like they have improved literally everything. I am surprised I haven't seen more people pissed about the ecoboost.

Gawd I hate this site...always making me want to spend money!

The only people who hate on EcoBoosts are those who haven't driven them...

I'm just not digging the exterior styling.

As for the Ecoboost. Still not sold. For off road, I always what it to be a simple as possible, adding turbos, electric wastegates and inner coolers is a great way to have something break.

I actually drove one a couple years back. Wasn't impressed and my much older Ram felt stronger/tougher and smoother. (Not hating, just calling it like it is, as in my opinion.)
