(trying do do a poll for this, hope it works the way I want it to) What was your Allocation # 1, #2 or #3 etc...and did you receive your car yet?( you can vote in both categories if you received your car) EDIT: OK the poll is up please vote accurately so we can get a better picture of how Ford is building these cars per Allocations. Thank you for your participation in this poll.
I too believe that I am the first allocation at my dealer...ordered 4/29/12...still in processing, unscheduled.
huh huh.. hmm hmm.... he said pole. People that say they are the dealers FIRST order and dont have thier car by now, got seriously lied to. Every dealer that participates in the SVT program has had one or more cars already come in and get delivered.
This baffles me. We ordered our car 1 week before you did. I'm beginning to honestly believe some of you guys are being yanked around. Is your car a Track Pack car or no? I remember hearing something about SVT-TP cars were being produced first, but people have also already received non-TP cars.
Oh I forgot to say mine is a second allocation order....not received or even scheduled yet....:nonono:
Good idea! I'm third in line at my dealer, and voted as such in the poll. Re my dealer, first car is built and in transit. Second car has build date. Who knows when the third car (me :shrug will move from processing.
Lou Fusz Ford in Chesterfield, MO, and I haven't been to Shelbyfest. I kind of got ticked at Ford when I went to buy a '96 Mustang Cobra and got the ADM run-around. After having bought 11 Fords, I bought my first GM at that point (SS Camaro). Now after 7 GM products (including the C6 that I sold to buy the GT500), I'm back to Ford. No ADM rape this time, and it's good to be rejoining the Ford ranks so the Shelbyfest will be on the calendar.
2nd Allocation, I recieved an ETA today of July 14. Hope this helps since we ordered at the same dealership and your next inline.
Mine is a non PP/TP car. Only options are electronics, heated seats, cover. Maybe I am being yanked around...don't really have a way to verify. I keep looking at those that are sitting on lots, but most are PP cars. and if they're not, they're not a color I would take. Dealer said Ford told him that mine should be built in the 3rd quarter. :??:
I feel better when I look at the poll. 1st allocation not delivered yet. Has went past delivery date a couple of times already. Impatiently waiting.......
first, thanks for the Poll. it's my main concern at this point. so somebody already received a 3rd allocation? hmm. IMO there's so much of an issue with not having access to "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" that unless you're the dealership employee who ordered, there's really no guarantee that you're not being lied to. you just have to work with the clues you have and be a detective. Ford/SVT says "I can't confirm that." did i need to ask, "well, can you deny that?" Cripes! i did without a doubt see, hear, smell and touch a Grabber/Black being detailed at my dealership, but it could have just as possibly been a courtesy drop. i don't want to have to be negative, but i do have to be realistic, and many customers, unless you without a doubt know your dealer is honest, or if you already have at least a VIN/build date, etc, are dealing with some sketchy sh!t. big-up Ford/SVT for developing a masterpiece. shame on Ford/SVT for handing us business practices shrouded in fog. man with Automotive Compulsive Disorder + discretionary $$$ + lots of time to think about stuff = ??? I have done nationwide searches for '13 GT500 and have also proposed some outrageous offers on some seriously gnarly used stuff for sale out there. it remains to be seen how all of this will unfold for all of us who have been on here for months while we drool, agonize, and think think think. I had a voice message today from Ford Cust Svc to call them back which is the first time that's happened, and maybe that's in response to my BBB assertion that did get sent to them. maybe my stuff's finally going to get processed. maybe good news. maybe bad news. more likely than not: more who the F knows?
