Finally got around to installing my quick release quadrant and firewall adjuster. To start I just went to the first click that doesn't have any play. Is there any generally accepted rule of thumb on how many clicks after play is gone one could/should go?

ProMotion powertrain that does clutches/trans rebuilds etc has a video on proper adjustment. I believe their rule of thumb was when the firewall adjuster is properly set if you pull on the clutch cable there by the adjuster you should have about a dime thickness worth of slack between it and the face of the adjuster

Thanks! I managed to find that video, and apparently I have a pretty good feel for it (or got lucky) as it passed the "dime test" spot on with how I set it.
