Is there a way to find out what the X-plan price of a car is with options? When I'm ready to buy I'll be eligible for X-plan, and I'd like to know what the price will be when it's equipped as I would like. I've heard some people talking about being able to get deals that were better than X-plan, so it would be nice to know where I stood for negotiating purposes. Thanks for any help!

If you go to edmunds and choose a model similar, I believe that it will give you an approximate invoice price. In the case of a mustang, I believ X Plan is within $100 of invoice price. Keep in mind that Xplan also limits the dealers Doc Fee to $75, so this is savings as well. Even if you beat the xplan price, if the Doc Fee is $495, are you really saving?

The idea behind Xplan is for you to have an ease of buying without negotiation.
