My 2003 cobra broke at the track earlier this year. I FINALLY got around to pulling the motor. Took it apart down to the short block. The #6 and #7 pistons were damaged and the block looks like it should just need to be honed. I'm going to replace the hardware and use stock replacement pistons, new rings from ford, stock crank, block, and rods. Then I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place...get the car dyno tuned. Then its going back up for sale. I have a 97 cobra that I'm going to play with instead. Wish I could keep both...maybe I'll build another termi some day...
