went to Milan on saturday and was going to race in the Holbrook shootout wild street series. unfortunately, my day was cut short because i broke the inner belt during the 2nd qualifying round and didnt have a spare with me but during one of the test and tune sessions I ran a 10.94 @ 125.97 mph with a 1.51 60 ft. Also ran an 11 flat during first round of qualifying with a .067 reaction time with a 1.55 60 ft and 11.0028 @ 125.70 mph. Race weight was 3,319 with me in the car and roughly half a tank of gas. Air temp was about 70F and slight over cast and about 100F track temp.

I rev it up to roughly 6,000 RPM then drop the clutch and hope everything holds together because i drive it to the track lol. running the stock 03 cobra clutch and pressure plate with a steel flywheel. Had a personal best 60 ft saturday as well. a 1.4960 but missed 3rd gear.

running Mickey Thompson ET Street Drags now (15 x 13.5 x 28) biggest that will fit without tubbing it lol. The 10.94 was the very first pass with these tires! forgot to bring the video camera on saturday but i have a video from last season with Mickey Thompson ET Street radials.

this was last fall. Ran a 11.06 with a 1.61 60 ft this run. air temp was roughly 55F but track wasnt prepped as well. This was my dads first time to the track so the recording is kind of crappy.

haha thanks! ive done a lot of weight reduction. trying to get it under 3,000 (without me) roughly 3,200 with my fatass in the seat haha. still have power leather seat, power windows, and radio though. not ready to get rid of those comforts yet.

Just noticed the 4.30 gear, damn you must be turning some fairly high RPMs across the traps. Unported blowers dont like to rev that high, you may gain from going down to a 4.10 or 3.90 gear.

On 28" rear tires and 4.10 gears i cross the traps at 6300-6400 RPM so i would guess your in the neigborhood of 6800 or so with those gears and tire combo. Well past the power range of an unported pullied Cobra motor.

yep going through the traps right around 6,700 RPM. 3.90 gear will be coming in the future. the 4.30 is back when I had this motor N/A but yes i deffinately lose some power in those revs. peak power stops around 5,200 with 13.9 lbs of boost and drops to 11.2 by 6,800.

Nice. 4.30 gear though, wow. Those 3.90s will whine but most likely be the best selection performance wise.
