Finally, got some drag radials! Nitto NT05Rs

i will be running tonite at gainseville with a pair of new 05r's on my 08 gt500. when i ran 2 weeks ago on stock tires the best i could do was a 13.30 at 122 mph. as you can see the 600 or so hp was pretty useless in the first 2 gears. my best 60 foot time was a 2.33. any recommendations on tire pressure would be helpful. i will post pics and video. if i don't drop at least 1 second i am going back to crotch rockets. more bang for the buck.

try running between 17-20 psi. Usually this works for most dr's

My NT05s were on backorder for 1 month.

Heat cycle, means basically do to a long burnout. You are getting all the protective coating off the tires. breaks the tires in. With my NT05s it was like driving on ICE when i first got them. Spun 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
