So my dad got an unsolicited call from a Ferrari dealer with an offer for him to buy a 2020 F8 Tributo at list.

He hasn't purchased a Ferrari in many years. I doubt he was their first phone call. We joked that this is a sign that the stock market hasn't bottomed yet. Still, he's considering making a deal to trade them his 2015 Porsche GT3 + cash for the F8.

It looks like this may be one of the first F8s in the states.

Is he cray cray? What do the Ferrari guys say about the F8? Is it just another facelift + new engine for the 458?

Calling the Ferrari guru: @treynor

A local guy I know has a GT3 (not sure of the year). It is stunning, and he loves it. I don't know if I would want to let a late model GT3 go.

Anyone else notice that the car in Doug's video needs some paint correction, etc.? Shocking that Ferrari would send a $325k car out of the showroom looking like that.
I saw that. What does the owner wash it with? Sand paper?

The F8 is an ugly ass revision. Their models usually improve over time...not this one.

GT3’s are dropping.
2015 GT3 value 125k
2018 GT3 with wing 155k
2018/19 GT3 touring no wing 175-180k
2016 GT3RS 155-165k
2019 GT3RS 190-220k

So that was just a phase then because I remember seeing a newer GT3 at the time going for $320k new. Whether it actually sold, I dont know.

GT3RS were selling for 300k when first released. They had huge adm’s on them. The 911R was the worst with some selling for close to a million dollars for a brief period of time. The 911 GT3 touring killed the 911R market and prices on those have now fallen to around 325-350.

Keep the Porsche, but I’m biased. Something about that engine is pure pornography.

Pick your poison.
