Fender height

I have a 2013 5.0, the car came with some Roush springs, I don't know if the car was lowered 1 full inch or they used the Roush springs to drop it 1/2 inch. I am trying to see if anyone knows what the stock height was from the ground to the fender. My car is at 28 1/2 inches from ground to middle of the fender, 3 finger gap and I am running a 285/35/19 AS3. I am trying to decide if I should go with a set of BMR springs for a drop , or go with some Sportlines. I am really trying to get rid the tire gap as much as I can. I will be running Koni srt.t struts/shocks, any of these springs pair better with this set up?

Tire size and wear will affect the measurements from the ground to the fender lip, track pack cars and base GTs also have different ride heights. A better way is to measure is from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. With my car on FRPP P springs I think I have about 15-15.5" from the center on the wheel to the fender lip.

I'll try to measure it that way tonight. My car is a base brembo. I'm really liking the sportline but I don't know if the ride will be comfortable and if the koni orange will handle it. Thanks for the info.

I'm home from work now and took a look at my car. Like I said before I'm lowered on FRPP P springs (1-1.25" drop). Fronts are 15" from the center of the wheel to the fender lip and rears are 15.5". From the ground it's 28.5" to the rear fender lip and the front is 28" but I'm also running 275/35/r20s so my tires are taller than yours and I have less wheel gap.

So let's say a track pack car sits 1" higher than a non track pack car. With new aftermarket springs, i'm pretty sure both cars will sit the same in the end with the same aftermarket springs no matter if your starting with a track pack or not but, a aftermarket spring with a advertised 1" drop will actually drop that track pack car 2" to make up the difference if that make sense. I hope this helps.

Thanks. It makes sense. I didn't know a track pack actually sat higher. Right now with the roush Springs it's dropped either 1 inch or 1/2 inch. I'll check tonight though. From what i have read the eibach is more harsh, I would really like to go with k Springs or bmr.

Car looks perfect. I'm leaning towards the sportlines since my tires have a 26.9 over all diameter. I will most likely go to 20's at the beginning of the year.

Yeah that is my SB cobra, I sold it a while ago. I miss that car. The car is in Georgia and was for sale again, last I heard. Thought about going after it.
