Recognizing the limits of a plate is why I'm only feeding the engine 100. 100 seems to run quite well in my case. I tried 150 and started to hit the octane wall on pump gas. I was getting heavy KR at the shift in every gear and then the motor would gradually feed timing back in. Needless to say, it didn't mph any better than 100 and only took a tenth off my ET. Based on that datalog and experience with my last car, which was an FI Coyote and had similar problems, it's safe to say our gas is shit where I live, regardless of its octane rating. 150 will need 5 gallons of 104 race gas if I want to try it again, I think. That said, the track officials will likely boot my ass when the car goes way under the cage limit so, motivation is low to up the shot.
