Fastest 1/4 mile 2011+ Mustang GT track times

Sort of new here. I joined last yr thinking i was gonna buy a 03 cobra. ended up buying a 2011 Kona 5.0. So reading through all this, is it safe to say if i have no plans on slicks out back or skinnies upfront, it will be very very difficult to break into high 10 even with a supercharger?

Reason i am asking is i dont go to the tracks to race. And this is my daily driver. So my next conclusion is to modify the car with this goal in mind, and maybe go naturally aspirated all-day-everyday mid 11 second car.

For those who are in the 10 second club, how does your car manage public roads and highways with street tires?

btw "Cobra Mike's" 11.95 @ 116, with stock rubber on 19s, with only bolt ons is pretty amazing

My car Went 11.97 @ 116 with Evolution Tune , Dr's,3.15 gears and stock air box. I have since done more mods. But the car felt great with just tune.

My stock auto only mod was spare tire and jack removed went 12.821 3/13/11 at hub city dragway. Wasnt gettting a mph all day for some reason for the 1/4. 60ft was 1.97

Believe it or not, it was my FIRST time ever racing a stick (used to racing my 10 second automatic HD truck), and my 2nd pass of the day...first pass was a 13.0, second pass ripped off a 12.6! And hit the 7k RPM cutoff about 100' before the traps topping out 4th gear :mj: Only launched at like 1200 RPM and rolled out....can't wait to get a tune and a few mods on it!

Is this the fastest 100% bone stock 3.73 geared 11' 5.0 on stock tires?

The 18's with the 235's. Car at that point had less than 550 miles and that was the first time I had it at the track. Plan on keeping it stock for this fall and also want to get it to a local track to get more seat time.

VERY good time on the 235 Pirelli's!! What track did you run at? What was your 60' time?
