Hey Guys, Figured i give it another crack, see if anyone has any fresh ideas on my issue. I'm getting false knock when (5-10 KR) * Going WOT from a highish RPM, say 4k+ * Downshifting to a highish RPM, false knock will show immediately, i may not even be on the throttle. * Hard shifting during WOT. Worse between 1-2, little less from 2-3, little less from 3-4. * Taking corners SOMETIMES. Always at part throttle or no throttle. Hard to replicate this one. NO knock when - * Going WOT from a low rpm, say a pull from 2k-7k, computer adds timing. * Hard hit in 1st gear is hit or miss, often times no knock. Hard to test right now with cold roads as traction is issue. LUND has assured me its not a tuning issue, and not real knock. I agree from looking at logs and my own testing. " Something is rubbing" I've checked exhaust a million times, header bolts, suspension bolts, swapped knock sensors, etc. I noticed there is a bracket and bearing connecting the driveshaft to frame. If that bearing was failing, could it cause this? I'd love ANY new ideas of what it could be based on the information above. Setup - D1SC stage 2, 3.9 pulley, wastegated at 11psi, meth injection, stock manifold, stock headers, stock catback, offroad H, 100#IDI, VMP BAP, Lund tuned. PS - Had same issue before WG with 4.75" pulley. Thanks!!!
