Not looking to ship so pick up only in the Memphis TN area. Long Block is sitting at the performance shop I use ready to go and can help lift this in the back of your truck. Asking $500 to get it moved out of their shop as its taking up space.
SOLD Good afternoon Svtp. As the title states I want to sell my 96 Long block out of my Cobra. The motor will need to be torn down if you would want to put it to use. The car ran fine just cruising around but would start to knock and sputter if you tried to go wot. After a minute of doing that it would go back to normal, until I would try to go wot again.. One day the car would run great and pull to redline and the next run horribly like I previously stated. Instead of tearing it down to find the problem I switched to a newer long block/computer setup at the same time for piece of mind. I was told by the previous owner the shortblock had been gone through, I.e. forged pistons/rods. I dont know whats in the bottom end as I never took the time to check but the car was making 543/498(dyno posted below) when I pulled the motor. For the sake of this f/s thread im going to claim its a stock bottom end. Car had around 35k miles when I had the motor pulled a few weeks ago. Both heads have helicoils in all 8 spark plug channels. Not looking to ship so pick up only in the Memphis TN area. Long Block is sitting at the performance shop I use ready to go and can help lift this in the back of your truck.
