It was stupid to limit its production in the first place. They did the same thing with the 2007 GT500, tehn realized they were making a car that people WANTED. 8 years of production and they kept making it better and better every year, sold every one they built. Anticipation of the 2019/20 GT500 is off the charts even with their idiotic delay and lack of info.

Limit production to 250 units per year, keep the price high. Roll out improvements every year if possible. GIVE PEOPLE THE OPTION TO USE THE COYOTE 5.0L!!!!!

Boggles my mind when a company has a home run product and they decide to limit production artificially.... because they are ****ing retarded. I may not like Mopar, but goddamned have they developed themselves a powerhouse portfolio with the Hellcat/Demon/Redeye.

If Ford is smart, they do what Mopar did with their Halo cars and trims. except for how they treated Viper... that was just terrible.

Well, that could push down resale value, which is why some buy cars like those.

Why does that matter?

Because it helps keep the brand relevant.
