we have a 02' explorer that the timing belt went out on, we took it to pep boys and they quoted us a little over 2gs is that right they also said that they had to take out the engine. please any help would be great thanks
02 is a 4.6L so it does require the front timing cover come off which means all the stuff on the front of the motor has to come off. How the hell did you break the timing chain? its not a belt but a full blown metal chain.
dont know it just went out is there two chains one in front and one back thats what they said. can i do this my self or would it be easer for them to do it.
