Just some info on exhaust mods that probably most know,
but for those comtemplating as they purchase new Cobra maybe
of help.
First thing I did after I got my new 2003 Cobra was get
Magnaflow Catback. Left the stock H-pipe and cats on.
I liked the sound ok, but with letting off gas or downshifting
there was too much "crackling/poping" for my likes.
Very recently had a Bassani X-pipe with cats installed.
Now the sound is noticeably louder but still acceptable,
and the "crackling / poping" sounds are mostly ( maybe
80%) eliminated. What remains of the crackling/poping
sounds is more of a "rumble" now.
Anyway, hope this is useful.
