Introducing the first product in our line of Lethal Performance clutches & flywheels: the Lightened Steel Flywheel.
Weighing in at 19.4lbs, the lightened steel flywheel is the best option for a street/strip application. It is lighter than a standard steel flywheel, reducing parasitic loss, but has enough rotational mass to not let your RPMs drop out of the powerband between shifts. We've run a lightened steel flywheel in just about every manual Lethal project car and for good reason.

Steel Construction | Manufactured from steel for extra strength, this Lethal Performance Lightened Steel Flywheel features a ring gear of 164 teeth, an engine balance of 0 oz, and an eight bolt main pattern. Steel flywheels are perfect for street and race applications where off the line acceleration is desired.
SFI Certified | If you're using this flywheel in high performance or racing applications, SFI Certification is critical so you can run your mustang at the track or strip. And it's great for peace of mind even in a daily driver - at higher RPMs, stock cast flywheels have been known to explode.
Application | The Lethal Performance Lightened Steel Flywheel fits the 1999-Mid 2001 GT, 1996-2004 Cobra, 2003-2004 Mach 1, 2011-2014 GT and 2012-2013 Boss 302 Mustangs with an eight bolt main. This is the perfect companion to your new clutch.
