I am struggling getting a new to me engine running. It got some miles on it and had alot of power ran through it. It's a all forged lower end with teksid block. Minor port work heads, shortened runner and ported manifold, 76mm turbo, 6al plus box, twin 255 inline pumps, methanol injection. Loaded tunes it was running from previous owner and the engine is very unhappy. It's loading up on fuel and plugs are always wet with dirty fuel. It takes feathering the throttle to get it run but will only run a short bit. All emissions etc have been removed. I'm getting evap, fuel tank pressure, egr codes but that's about it. Of course O2s are thinking lean and my injector pulse width is at 25 ms! I've cleared fuel trims/adaptive, good battery 13+ battery voltage, getting steady 58 psi at the regulator with reference vaccum hooked up, no injector faults and have pulsed them manually with a 9v battery, it acts like it has a massive vac leak or is out of time but it passed a cold leakdown test. All cylinders within 5 psi. I'm running a return style fuel system. Car runs best with maf unplugged? But maf plugged in is reading 3.48 with koeo and rises with increasing throttle. Have not got it out of open loop yet. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions or input. Oh it a 1996 mustang cobra 4.6 4v. Help please.
