Everyone talks about rwhp, what about skidpad/handling ability?

I all I just wonder what you guys have done to get the the Cobra to handle better on road courses etc. I love the SOP feel, but I also like to know I can take a corner or go through twisties with the best of them.

Ask the Porsche driver I ran down on Hwy 84 near San Francisco if he thinks the 03 Cobra's handle well.:) I think it handles fine from the factory, but there's always room for improvement.

You going to road race it? Maximum Motorsports has good components.

Go to Griggs Racing. If, for nothing else, read their info on the Mustang platform. They talk about the geometry of the Mustang, and how, instead of putting on stiffer springs or bigger sway bars, they change the geometry of the car, to correct bump steer and brake dive, etc. Pretty interesting stuff. That's prolly where I'll be headed when it's time.

i don't like how it handles ... talk about wide turning radius!
i autoX as often as i can and those stock front tires just can't plant this car around corners.
i'm going to lower the car and really beef up the suspension.

here's my autoX vidoes ... everytime i do this, my server just drops to it's knees!
