I have 4 vehicles under Hagerty and just paid my yearly renewal for $1,500.
Each has full coverage and the value set by me.

ya but thats limited use etc vs his daily drivers and the cobra that never gets driven. Adding vehicles to the specialty policy is cheap because as they said the liability is already factored in when you only have one driver (cant have multiple vehicles in an incident)

honesty yall just need to shop pretty much everyone. Who is going to be the cheapest in your area, your demographic and vehicles is impossible to predict

Grundy offers daily driver insurance as well now. I started to look into it, but I think you need two dailies and a collector car minimum. I only had one daily at the time.

I never regretted buying a car. I did figure out I needed to stop because I wasn't finishing any projects and needed to focus. My GT-R will be done in June. When I get home to Texas in September of 2026 I'll get my Mach 1 back on the road. It's so close just needing odds and ends installed, a driveshaft, exhaust, and tires. Then the Cobra will be next. Once I retire the Mach 1 and Charger R/T will get their long awaited restorations.

The DSG cobra I bought site unseen was def a regrettable experience. The seller lied through he teeth about alot of stuff. The biggest issue was the hurt motor. Shame on my for not having a third party check it out.

Ended up parting the car out and selling it as a roller, so I made the majority of my money back but that car was a shit show.

Glad to see my post sparked a new one! :) Yea I have regretted buying a car or two, never a mustang though. Most recent one that comes to mind I had a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid I bought off a friend. I didnt even drive it and decided I would try to sell it to get my money back and no such luck. I didnt know the public was so afraid of older hybrid vehicles. Which I get once the batteries go bad you got a paper weight.

The vehicles I bought after my Raptor I regret, simply cause I always go back to a Raptor eventually for the daily.

I want to…
But I actually go on road trips and figure it not the same for insurance …
When I go on the road I jam it sorta speak….
Three States- eight hours of driving 500+ miles
I drove mine to Vegas the beginning of March. 600+ miles over the weekend. I did the Power Tour West back in 2023. About 1000 miles in 3 days. If I drive it to work it's a 200 mile commute. And they know the car is registered in one state, but spends most of it's time in another.

You just have to pick the right insurance.

amazing how many cars some of y’all have purchased. At 38 I’ve purchased 3 vehicles. A retired 2002 crown Vic police interceptor was my first when I was flat broke I just needed some wheels. $2,200 and I loved that thing. Looking like a cop car people would get out of my way on the freeway. It was a blast driving in college in college station. The entire street I lived on consisted of duplexes and we lived at the very end. I’d hit kids with the spotlight while carrying a case of beer and watch the drop it and walk off between houses as if that made them disappear.
Then a 2013 mustang 5.0 and that’s the regret. Once lowered and on some nice wheels with a front and rear valance its best attribute was its aesthetics. I really didn’t enjoy driving it but I loved taking pictures of it. Not enough torque and if you really ring its neck it’s didn’t want to shift. Mt-82 was trash.
Now my 2019 f250 I bought new before prices went nuts.

Turns out I don’t make knee jerk purchases and if I think it over too long I decide I don’t need it.
