Not sure how true this is but the announcers at the race were saying that the ETS racing team has to rebuild the half shafts, transmission, Etc after every run.

I'll also mention that this video does this car absolutely no justice. Seeing the 255 mph person was pretty unbelievable. This car flat-out hauls ass!

Billet blocks are the main reason.
At the 2014 Texas Invitational the AMS GTR 3.8L Aluminum (non-Billet) motor was producing 2000HP and maxed out at 201 Trap speed winning the event quite easy. I'll stick by my HUGE progression, haha.... Yeah AMS said the block was the weak link in that combo.
