What’s up everyone? Moved into my new to me house about a year ago and been doing little odds and ins since. Moved in with a 2mo and he’s now 18mo old and now have a 4mo old daughter as well. So time to work on the cars has been put on the back burner for now. Hopefully soon I’ll get back into building up my 03 Mach to cobra spec and then some. In the mean time I got a wild hair and decided I wanted a live end slab table for my patio in the back yard. Been working on it as I could here and there and today I finally got to pouring the epoxy on one side. Anyone else ever dabble with epoxy pours? Would love to see others project as well. Pardon the shitty potato quality pics.

Beautiful piece of wood.

Thank you, when I saw it I had to have it. It’s coastal redwood he from California. When I bought it was 11’ long and I cut it down to 8’ to suit my needs.

my buddy and I are playing around with it. Tonight we had drilled out some bubbles and refilled them with epoxy.

That looks awesome! A heat gun worked well for popping bubbles while it was still wet. I went away for a little too long at 2 bubbles formed when I was away and started to dry.

Our problem was not sealing the wood well enough and the bubbles would just keep forming. We like using a torch over the heat gun for some reason.
