Yeah gonna get a 6R80 and build it up, but for now gonna have some fun on the Mt82, prob set it around 12-14 lbs of boost and have fun on the street. After the trans is built turn it all the way up and go full retard. Just depends on how long the MT82 will last with a dual clutch.

Engine is in!!!! MMR 1500 Pro mod block and MMR Hurricane Billet Geared Oil Pump gears with ARP 2000 head studs. My heads are done as well! went with MMR Custom/Race Spring & Retainer kit and did a nice clean up on the heads as well. More pics to come as the heads are going on friday!

some more updates, Turbo kit is almost done!! Engine is getting some last things installed like heads and some crank gears.

all new gaskets and some nice looking pistons!

Heads all finished, went with the MMR Racing springs and retainers

No port job on the heads just some new springs and retainer (for the haters)

I know your ready to get it back together with this new setup because I'm salivating at the mouth like a crackhead waiting for his fix knowing its getting closer for me as well.

We're going to have similar set-up minus I'm auto with mmr stage 3 ported heads/valves. The mmr promod and heads just got delivered to Daniel at TSS today, so I know it won't be to much longer for me either.

my setup is only staying stick for a few month, Im already working on building up a 6r80. Head work might be later on but u can always up the boost to compensate for head work :beer:

yeah no worries man, Ill prob have another build thread or just add to this one. I love banging gears but I wanna post some good times and it seems like only a few have gone faster then 9.5 1/4... I wanna chase the high 8's!!!!

Yeah once you get that auto in there man high 8's shouldn't be a problem. I'm shoot for mid 8s or better once Daniel and I get it dialed in with the transbrake/ right converter combo.

Only took me 3 days to sell the paxton kit on this forum. shouldnt be that hard! Just the down time sucks but it will be worth the wait! Anyone know where I can find a Carbon fiber drive shaft for a reasonable price? pref a DSS shaft
