All started Tuesday.. noticed the battery wasn’t keeping voltage on the ol aeroforce gauges. Figured the Alternator took another shit on me so I pull it and take it to AutoZone to have them check it out. Guy ran two tests and told me it was good. Take the damn thing home, put everything back together and bolted it all up (after fully charging the battery) take the car back to AutoZone… have him wheel his little cart out there and test it again… then says… the alternator is running fine, your battery is fine, but the current isn’t getting back to the battery from the alternator. We checked all fuses and everything was good. I did some searching on the forum but I’m to damn sick and tired of dealing with it for the night so I’m headed to bed…
there is no lower pulley on the car nor any aftermarket audio systems. the only aftermarket electrical device is my valentine one and the aeroforce gauges.
any input would be greatly appreciated.
(and please, dont tell me to take it to Ford, that just wont happen lol)
