I am curious if changing my 2 BBL carb to a efi system would possibly make much difference in gas mileage. 360, Granny 4spd, 4.10, 4x4. 76 f250. I know the drive ability would be much improved. Cold start, etc.

I think part of that will depend on what kind of EFI you plan on running. I don't think a throttle body set up would help as much as a full sequential set up.

Either way I wouldn't expect something like a 5 mpg improvement. Maybe 1 or 2? But with the other benefits you mentioned as far as cold start and throttle response.

What system are you looking at?

I would go with the Edelbrock proflo4. I have an FItech on my 69 Mach 1 with an FE and a TKO 6 spd. I think the best it has ever done is 15mpg, the cold start driveability is much improved but I can't say the mileage is really that awesome.
