Just throwing it out there Ford has cautioned against some of those sprays with concerns about elevated exhaust gas temps and what that might mean for the turbo and cats

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Is it more risky than intake disassembly and reassembly for walnut blasting? Is it more risky than turning the Ecoboost off immediately upon destination arrival (compared to waiting 1-2 minutes for your turbos to slow and cool)? Doubtful.
