I just did a full return fuel system this winter and have plenty of pump to run E85 now. I'm running twin 465's with -8 feed/return lines and Div X fuel rails. My concern is will my 80# injectors do the trick or will it be scary close. I should only be around 750rw. In reading I've heard he said she said they are good for a solid 800rw. Thanks for your input guys.

tunner will just have to keep an eye on your parameters as he tunes it. Might have to be a slightly lower boost level.

The 80s on my car are logging 88~90% duty cycle E85 and 714rwhp. This is on a returnless setup

I "thought" the id1000 and 80s are about comparable flow.....might want to look into it closer and make sure you don't need id13000s for 750 wheel hp on ethanol. Personally, I don't think 80s will make it.

Raise the base pressure on the fuel system. It will make the 80s effectively larger.

Interesting, well worse case I will just have to run less boost as mentioned until I can afford some bigger injectors. I kind of doubt i will see 750rwh so I might be okay.

I had no issues with 740 rwhp on E85 with 80's.

And that was with a base pressure of 41psi.

With a base of 50-55....the 80's should easily handle up to 800rwhp on corn, I would imagine.

I maxed out my 80's on 17psi of boost (turbo) putting down 620rwhp, 40psi of base fuel pressure. Was an 4r70 trans though.

ive seen the 80's max out at 725~hp (depending on fuel system, yours is plenty big). if you ever plan on going higher.... which we all do. i would save up and get the 105's or spend the money on id1300's.

I remember somebody saying just wait and do it right the first time! ;-)
No point in pissing money away on a tune till you have all the crucial components. Lol

800 is about the limit if your base is set at 50. 105's are probably a good idea.

80's flow 875cc
105's flow 1150cc
And of course id1000 is 1000cc so no reason to pay big money for the ID unless you need a 1300 or larger

Damn that hurts... Using my own words against me haha I ment that as do as I say not as I do :D

I run 80s.
Awesome! That gives me a more confidence.

Again good to hear. I won't touch that 800 Mark for a few more years so I think I should be okay with my current setup. Thanks everyone for your input!

You will be able to reach your goal with increased fuel pressure as 03Steve mentioned.

But remember, if raising the fuel pressure effectively makes the injectors larger, it also reduces the flow output of the pumps. You will be "Robbing Peter to pay Paul" in a sense. So if you don't have enough pump or are already close on them, they will not have enough either.

Also, be sure and check out http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?374-The-Distillery

Good info in there as well.
