Haven't been able to find any info on running e85 on first startup and breaking in the fresh build. Is it safe for seating rings etc? My CR is a little high for pump gas, so I'm planning on being on corn full time, just trying to figure out if the break in can be on corn or not. I have my e85 tune from the last setup which I think will be close enough to run the car.

I plan on following the L&M Racing startup sequence. Fire it up, hold rpms between 1500-2400, check for leaks, get it up to temp to open the thermostat, shut it off, change the oil and tow it to the dyno and let her eat.

Any reasons not to break it in on e85?

I’m very interested to know as well. I have heard (through other sources) that many prefer to break in with race fuel and then tune in e85. I don’t know if there is any truth to that but I would love to hear the real deal.
