I recently had the output on my '92 5.0 tested. It is mostly stock, K&N panel filter, timing bumped to 14', Bosch platinum spark plugs, and run on Syntec 5W50. I know the Syntec doesn't add power, but I read it "frees up" power to the rear wheels. Maybe. The car has just under 100,000 miles on it, and put down 194 HP to the rear wheels, at 4400 rpm, as well as 265 lbs/tq, at 3100 rpm. Based on factory numbers of 220 HP and 300 tq, this translates to 12% drivetrain loss. I haven't actually had the flywheel HP tested, which is why I'm basing it on company specs. Hopefully soon, I'll start the serious modding.
