Question: I have some DVD movies and a laptop. When I'm on flights I'd like to watch the movies. So is there any free software out there to do this? If not free, any recommend software? I'm not that great on the computer stuff so any help on how to view DVD movies on my laptop would be great. Thanks!

You can watch movies with the basic Roxio which is free. And you can also play DVDs with RealPlayer V10.5 which is also free. If you are willing to spend around $60 then you can get an excellent software called Nero.

rips your dvd to your HD. Great for flights, since spinning the DVD drive uses way more battery than reading the movie files from your HD.
