I have researched a lot on this and just looking for some opinions here. I was reading that when go return style you delete the FPDM by wiring a solid hot from the battery to two fuel pump relays and use the switched power that goes to the FPDM to activate the relays. This would allow you to not use the fpdm or a BAP. Has anyone done this or is this not the best method to do. It seems like it would work really well because you delete a lot of electrical components that could fail. Also I would be interested in a method where you could still use the fuel safety shutoff for the unfortunate event of an accident. Any Help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I ran a #10 wire from the battery back to a 40 amp relay, then used the keyed hot off the FPDM wiring to power it up and a #10 down to the pumps. If you used the FPDM wiring your shut off should still work.iirc.

I'm not sure but with a return setup I don't know if a BaP can be used. I have never heard of it anyway.
