I bought this from a member on corral, he only put 500 Miles on it and he pulled it out and went with a stroker boss block engine instead so I bought it off of him and it has been siting in my closet for a few months now, but I am looking to buy a truck now so this is going to go and the engine build will wait till i am done my last year of college.
One piston got a few surface scratches on it during shipping and a small chip the engine builder said it is fine and did not effect compression, strength, or performance in any way because they were too small of marks
Once I received the parts I took them to my engine builder and he verified that everything was forged and they all checked out great.
The PO bought the DSS racing Pro Modular short block and he sold me just the rotating assembly, here is a link to the exact specs of the engine 4.6 Pro Modular IRON Short Block What will be included is everything in the link minus the block.
It comes with Arp 2000 rod bolts, 5140 I beam forged rods, -18cc pistons, cobra 8 bolt crank, rod bearings, piston rings (I do not know the specs on the rings but you will need new rings for your motor anyways). This combination is capable of handling up to 1000 hp
I am looking to get $800 plus the ride for everything together, and I am not really looking to part out at the moment. Please PM me with any questions and I will answer them the best I can
