I am selling a low mileage DSS 308 shortblock. Came out of my coupe, and I was gonna put it in my hatch and decided to go ahead and build a 331.
This motor went 7.70's on motor with Edelbrock Victor Jr's out of the box, and a C4 behind it. That was in a 3200lb car.
Forged .040 over pistons.
H-beams
All arp hardware
Melling high volume pump
stock fox oil pan
Ford Racing double roller timing chain
Has an X303 cam, no lifters
Shortblock has roughly 100 1/8th mile passes and very little weekend driving.
Ran very strong and perfect when pulled out, been wrapped in plastic bag since.
Looking to get $1000, and price is negotiable. I am located in Northwestern, Alabama. Muscle Shoals to be exact.
Will ship at buyers expense. Or will meet within reason.
