I know im posting like crazy today, just kept meaning to look up stuff and excited to break the girl out of winter storage this weekend.

So as long as i can remember; my drivers seat has basically been stuck in the position its in (front to back-wise) you hear the motor trying to move but its almost like its in a bind. All the other functions work great. Has anyone ever taken the seat out and "refurbed" them? I tried searching but didnt see anything

Yup. I bought a kit from two men 1 garage that was fairly simple to install. There are a few minor modifications required, but instructions are provided and easy to follow. It worked so well that I got a second kit to add a power passenger seat too. http://www.2men1garage.net/

They have various options depending on how much you want to replace.

Just had the same prob. Went and bought a manual slider for the passenger and swapped out the power seat track

thanks for the link. I'm going to pull the seat this weekend, try cleaning/lubricating it or worst case, see where the fail point is and order a replacement
