Dreaded TOB issue? Help...

1500 miles and no problems yet.

Pulling out of the garage and I hear a very slight whining/chirping noise when I was letting out the clutch. Put the clutch back in and goes away. Slowly let it out again and again faint noise...

Is this the dreaded TOB going bad and what the heck is the prognosis. I tried reading every thread on this but I'm not quite sure there is a fix for this yet?

Probably. I'm on my second. It probably would have been my third but I let my first one go for a long time. It eventually chewed up the TOB retainer and I got a new T56 plus a TOB.

You shouldn't worry... even if you have it. I'm pretty sure that it is your TOB, but it's an easy fix.

Just take it in.

What's an easy fix. Don't they have to drop the whole trans to fix this. If so they have to drop my custom exhaust!! Crap!

is your H-pipe welded to the headers? Yes, the tranny has to be dropped for the fix.

No, X-pipe is bolted to the headers but it really scares me that they have to take the whole damn transmission out!!
