I know this isn't really a drag tire but what kind of results have you guys seen who have run them at the track? I'm wondering if it's even worth my time to go on these or if I'm just going to be spinning them away.

When I go to the track (street night, not a real track rental) my R888s feel like I'm on ice

At 665whp, I hook very hard in 2nd on the street. But on the track, she wants to spin halfway through 3rd. Noticeably less traction when at the track than when on the street. Just my .02, probably not enough time to warmup

This is the result of drag racing on R888's.. Don't launch on them. Better off just getting some drag radials or slicks.

They need heat throughout the tire, not just tread. Best I've gotten out of mine on a well prepped track was 1.9 60'

Tires like the R888 and my Falken RT-615RT are pretty much unsuable on a drag strip. I was doing 2.4 60' on the falken, yeah that's very bad. Both tires are good on an open-track but complete garbage on a drag strip.

My 888's are great on the street from a roll, dead hook in 2nd with 600hp (when warmed up), but I didn't even bother trying them at the track after my buddy in his 07 Z06 was cutting 2.0-2.2 60ft's every time. With a sidewall that stiff I didn't want to chance wheel hopping or snapping an axle.

Went ahead and threw some Hoosier 315 drag radials on my extra afs 10.5's and cut a 1.7 60ft without even launching hard. Straight hooked and no hop at all. Definitely get an extra set of drag radials or slicks and keep the 888's for the street if the funds will allow.

2.2 60' on 315/18 R888's, they were trash at the track. switched to drag radials down to 1.7's and can do better

R888s are a lot heavier than tires like 555 dr's. Side walls more suited to road course racing.
