I learned standard on (I think) a '75.
Many happy memories.

My Dad had me practice slipping the clutch on a uphill dirt road.

We also had a '72 Fury III.

Get it ready to be his first vehicle Bob. It came with all kinds of metal replacement/ patch panels. It has a new wiring harness all ready. He has done 100% of the labor so far. 351m for an engine w/ auto. He got this on his own accord.

That is cool that he is doing the work himself. And that he took care 100% to find a vehicle, buy it, and now fix it up for the road. How old is he?

He's 14. He pays attention to older stories about the old 70's Ford trucks. His great grandfather had a 74 hiboy that was saught after by the family. My first vehicle was a 79 f250 4x4 and most of my cousin had 77-79. Many stories and pics.

Best part for me is he has cleaned and organized the main shop area to work on the truck through the winter. He's none stop working in there.

2 hours left. Bidding started at $1900.00 dollars and now it is up to nearly 20k.
Anyone want to buy me an early Christmas present?
