I've been informed that Matt Nicholson has been let go from Carbotech Brakes. From what I've heard about the situation, I will no longer include Carbotech as a source for brakes.

Matt put Carbotech on the map with outstanding knowledge and customer support. It appears to be a very poor management decision by new owners and Carbotech has lost an extremely valuable asset.

Life is hell in the manufacturing trenches.

Obviously he had been using company equipment to access his Yahoo email account, otherwise the organization would not have even known he had one. Password loggers are simple to install and maintain on company equipment where the end user is not allowed admin privileges. Anything you do on their machine...is their business. If you don't want them knowing about it...do it at home.

Many organizations have policies regarding this type of internet usage.

No sympathy from me. He hung himself.

EDIT: original post was edited to remove information so this post appears strange in the thread context. No idea if the pot thing is true or not.
