Always been a quandary. Maybe we just keep doing what we do and forget about the rest of the world in regards to this. Not saying we are better, but maybe we are not worse....

I love my dog so much but unfortunately I'm going to have to get rid of him. He's been growling at my eleven-year-old daughter in routine petting situations not involving food or bone. It's gotten worse over the last couple months and I'm not going to risk my daughter or someone else's child being bit. I got bit in the face when I was a child and it's no picnic I'm not going to put her through that. It absolutely sucks because I spent $1,500 on him less than 2 years ago and is a great companion but I don't want it to have to come to a bullet.

I like dogs and have had a couple. I don't like the expense of owning pets or the mess they make of your house and yard. When I retire and want to spend time picking up poop in my yard I'll get another one.

We have 8 dogs, while I love each one of them, the more you have the more work it is. One we bought a long time ago, 3 are foster fails, 2 are off the street and 2 were given to us by people who no longer wanted them or couldn't care for them.
The one we did buy, that was before we knew better. Please consider adopting, there are a lot of great dogs that just need homes.

Grew up with 2 dogs that were like my best friends. One of em used to try to stop my dad from giving me whoopings when I was a child haha. Pops literally had to take me in the room and close the door, whole time dog would be scratching and huffing/growling at the door trying to get in.

I want another dog, so does my girlfriend but I told her we should wait until we get a house.

You treat who and what you want, how you want.

Doesn't matter where you live or what's culturally appropriate. If in 1800 you believed slavery was bad and all men were equal, that was your choice. If you believe dogs are good, it doesn't matter if you live in an Asian society where they consume them, you can abstain and treat them with respect.

Societal standards mean nothing anymore now that people are much more brazen in their effort to be who they are and believe what they want. But inevitably that also means when people are tragically wrong about things, they get awfully offended when you say something. For ex: Man who beats his dog. You say yo, no. He goes, GTFO bo.

Only at her and no one else?

Might be an underlying medical issue with the dog. Maybe take it to the vet and have them run some blood work before getting rid of it.

Both guys simultaneously with a protein shake? Powerful evidence of some connection. Hard not to think the two are inexplicably intertwined. However, it would probably be best not to be too quick to jump to conclusions. Statistically it could still possible that it's pure coincidence. It's like Powerball. Long odds against it but every now and then it happens.

I plan to give Bruno the benefit of the doubt on this one.

On the dog thing all I know is that when the wife and I travel we pretty much wonder every day how the dogs are getting by without us. At the same time we hardly even bother to speculate on how the kids are doing. We have our priorities in order.
