Does anyone own, or have experience with, an older (10'ish years) electric vehicle???

Just looking for some antidotal evidence on battery pack performance over time. After 10 or so years how diminished is the performance?

No idea on full EV, but we had a 2017 FFH with about 60k on it that was replaced by a 2017 FFH with 25k on it after an accident. Same trim and everything, just over half less miles.

We thought our first one was fine and never though otherwise (we bought it at 45k and put about 15k on it before it was totaled), but after getting the newer one with over half the miles, it seems the hybrid drive in our first was severely worn out. Our newer one gets far more range, has more power, and has a higher EV only threshold before load or speed kicks it over into hybrid or ICE only, and seems to regenerate at a faster rate as well. Our newer one also gets 5mpg more than the older, and that's with me driving it. That 60k one though was also a previous fleet/rental, so it may have been treated poorly (drove fine otherwise). If that's the case either mileage or treatment seems to have worn down the hybrid system/battery/regen capacities. People on the fusion hybrid forums claim to have 150-250k on some of theirs with no noticeable degradation but maybe if they jumped into one newer with less mileage they'd have a similar experience to ours.
