does anyone know off hand what tools to use for x pipe

i have a exhaust leak where the collector flange meets the x pipe flange on the pass side of the car does anyone know what type of exstentions i need to use to get to the bolts? i dont have to many tools at my house so i would be buying what ever i needed. thanks guys.

Is'nt the passenger side the flat collector with the gasket ? If so, I used 3/8s ratchet, and about 12-18 inches of extensions and 1 U joint in the middle. wrap the u joint with tape, so it'll flex but not flop around.

I did the original writeup for the 00R FAQ dealing with the Bassani x-pipe install. Be sure to use a little bit of anti-sieze on the nuts/studs, and replace the nuts if they are rusted. I replaced all the nuts on mine with S/S or trialloy from the local hardware store. it was a couple bucks, and the studs were long enough on the R to double nut. fFom the FAQ, they should be 15 mm nuts, but may be 14 or 16. The Studs on the R are a bit bigger than the 4.6. The threads may be M10s.
