Does anyone else have the habit of using movie or TV references?

Almost daily it seems at times, too. I did auto parts sales for years in various roles and we would get techs looking for multiples of times like o-rings or nuts/bolts. So, when they would come up and ask, it was common for them to hear "Hey, give me 2 of those, 6 of those, a box of those naked lady T's...."

Another time years ago a coworker who almost ALWAYS wore a hat came in not wearing it one day so I had to yell across the shop "Hey, Whitey, where's your hat?"

Yeah, those are both Caddyshack references but you get the idea. Airplane, Animal House, and The Simpson's are great, too. A good way to start the day when you walk in and see your coworkers is to blurt out a good:

Jesus.

You said it man. Nobody ****s with the Jesus.

Most of the emails between my buddies and I involve some Big Lebowski reference.

All the time.

But, being older, I prefer older movie quotes so that the kids of today think I'm being original.

When I want to be really clever I use quotes from Silent Pictures.

Any time I see a Pinto drag car or someone mention one I always think of "Why Pinto?"

"Why not?!"

I use movie/tv quotes, references and vocal impersonations like every other sentence.

It's bad, sometimes I don't know if it's part if my personality or covering up for a lack thereof....

My thoughts on this thread.
Sorry ghost rider, the pattern is full.

"negative ghostrider"....
