Does anybody else think the 5.0 'Coyote' doesn't sound very good?
Had to add my 2 cents for what its worth. Can attest to feeling and honestly believing that a cars sound and how you control it under load is 110% of the reason true car enthusiastic like myself love them. Haven't had over 50+ mustangs over the years including shelby's and cobra's and the new coyote motors its sad to say Ford f'd us with the sound of the coyote. Yes its great on power but sucks balls regarding sound. Only way it sounds good is 4 grand and up, the firing order isn't what we all grew up loving and Im surprised Ford it this to everyone. I've changed my exhaust a few times already, currently running ARH full catted and cat less x pipe system and I do not like it. Remember the times you could put just about any exhaust on a mustang and love it. You can't with these coyotes, they just don't have the tone we are after down low. Only reason I don't want to do a coyote swap in my foxbody is because of the sound. Here is what we are dealing with here is the flat head v8 sound/coyote here is what we want
